I think some days idiots rule the world.
We've been looking for storefronts for JFM. the Unique line of clothing, accessories and footware attract varied clients.
and, the cost of retail space in the downtown area is ridiculous. I inquired about a space at Sunnyside and Bank 3000sq ft( more than we need) 33$ plus 9$ common whatever the hell that is ???!? that equates to over 33,000 per month...I must be on Crack!!!
My clothing is made of the finest hand woven silk/ natural fibres/organic cottons
moving 33000 per month is not forseeable for a new business (startup)
then there is a 160sq ft space but
building closes at 5:00pm m-f
no sat or sun traffic
holidays closed all government
unsure of the rent
we currently are 3 seasons ahead fashion wise which is a bonus but notifiying the public has been strictly by word of mouth and it has been working for us..
the Spring Collection is arriving in bits and pieces and it looks amazing can't wait for fashion week..
Suppliers are already trying to take advantage of us..especially with our Trademark denim pants and skirts
will have to deal with them shortly and in due time
